Apologizes

I wanted to apologize for the lack of updates the last few months, I’ve been quite busy with work as I’ve inking a book for Penny Farthing Press and doing some work for Hasbro.

Plus, along with my friend and Rorschach creator Brian Meredith, we’ve launched a new comic book convention in the Seattle, WA area as a compliment to the much larger Emerald City ComiCon that we’re both also involved with. So I’m proud to announce in a little less than a month, we’ll be launching our inaugural Jet Cit Comic Show on September 25, 2010 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.

But I’m back on track with releasing the books online. On September 1st, make sure to stop back by and read Sean Dietrich’s Fervor in its entirety (no more daily updates, its all or nothing around here).

Lucifer Fawkes: Blood Flow – Free Online Comic

Click to Read Online – Starting May 1, 2010 with New Pages Posted Daily (Monday-Friday)

Written by C. William Russette • Art by Ryan Sergeant • Cover by Shane White
Lucifer Fawkes, Keeper of the Realm, hates games.

Demons and their ilk thrive on them. Man is little more than sport. Those that stand between man and demon; the ghouls and werewolves, children of demons and meta-nature, lust for patricide.

Dr. Moses Fowler, man-made ghoul and genius, strikes a bargain with the brother of the former Werewolf king – Abraham Thorpe. They set plans in motion that pit Lucifer Fawkes quest for exorcism and Mr. Gooseberry’s perversions on a collision course ending with red, wet results.

Reviews:
“Lucifer Fawkes is a highly satisfying read. It looks great, the writing is direct and effective and the production is professional.”

Fresh Look

Decided to give the front page a fresh new look. I’ll be tweaking it on a regular basis.

Starting on Monday will be the Lucifer Fawkes comic, posted daily Monday through Friday, until the end of the month. Great comic if you enjoy the supernatural and horror, kind of a Doctor Strange meets Batman type… plus there’s some techno-zombies involved in this story. More will be posted on Monday.

I also decided to start blogging about tips on websites and running webcomics. I may be new to web comics but I’ve been in the design/marketing business for 10+ years and have experience in advertising, seo and all the fun crap.

Welcome to RorschachComics.com

This website is a part of the Rorschach Entertainment (www.rorschachentertainment.com) and is the site where we will be posting our past books for free online as we move into the future of new titles. Basically we wanted to give our past fans a little gift allowing them to try some new books that they might not have picked up in the past. As well as giving potential new fans a chance to read books they might have missed – you may never have seen one of our titles at your local comic shop.

We’re are launching this site with 4 different titles fully up on the site to read. Then we will be launching a new book every month, with updates on weekdays, until we’ve exhausted out back catalog. So keep checking back at www.rorschachcomics.com every month for something new.

In the future we’ll be launching brand new comics exclusive to the internet as well as other digital outlets, as we feel digital is the future for the survival of independent comics. Though everything will eventually see print, as we’ve got ink in our blood and need to feel it on our hands.
